Is this LARP beginner-friendly?
Yes. At Monstrous Immersive, we aim to make our events as beginner-friendly as possible. However, this LARP deals with darker themes and we will deliberately explore elements such as oppression and psychological violence. If you are unsure if this is the right event for you, please read the Player Handbook (see below) to learn more.
What does ‘Collaboratively Organized’ mean?
This LARP is a is a collaborative event that takes inspiration from Burn principles. This means that we expect everyone to help co-create this event. We have a Discord server where we organize the LARP together and expect everyone to help with event organization or shifts during the event within your capacity. Should you not want or not be able to help, we ask that you use the option to pay a little extra for the ticket to cover expenses instead.
Ways you can contribute are for example: helping with plans for deco, transport or logistics, joining the set-up a few days before the event begins, taking a lead position to organize teams, writing characters and many more. Our coordinator, whom you can find on Discord, can help you find ways to help.
Here you can find our Player Handbook. It will provide you with more information about Monstrous Immersive, the organizational facts of the LARP, the setting and the ways in which we play.
No Abominable Intelligence was or will be used in any creative part of this project. If you are a newcomer we will ask you to refrain from such abhorent measures.
